Love Story

This is such a funny story... well I think it is :)

Its a little long... but the ending is happy I promise!

We were introduced (well through text message) in October.

My friend Jessica Peacock said she got the brilliant idea to set us up on a date. He was funny... I was goofy... She thought it was a perfect match. 

She gives him my phone number, and we text all day. 

Now this is where the story version changes. 

We all know who's version is correct (MINE!!)

So here is the two versions. 

Chelsea's Thoughts

I thought we hit if off. I thought he was under my spell! We have fun talking!

But...

He never asks me out. 

I am a little bugged. I am a little upset.

I don't let it bother me. I keep dating random people.

Kody's thoughts

Nah... She just got out of a relationship.

We didn't hit it off. We aren't meant to be! 

I am a player! I have plenty of options! I am not going to ask her out on a date!

(Okay that last part isn't exactly what he thought but... I think it was ha)

We speed through time to New Years Eve 2011. 

I am at the singles stake New Years party with Jessica.

I am introduced face to face with the most attractive boy ever.

Kody Little

We say hello. We remember that we have talked before. 

That was it. 

Kody speeds off to mingle with all the people at the party.

I spend the rest of the night dancing and having fun with Jessica and all her friends. 

Midnight was fast approaching. 

Jessica and I decide we want to be right in the middle of the party at the midnight. 

I turn around and Kody is dancing right next to me.

10..9..8..7...

The count down begins! Midnight has come!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Kody looks at me, and gives me the lets kiss look. 

I think why not?

We bring in the new year by kissing each other. 

The party ends, and my friends ask me if I am going to start dating Kody.

I say no probably not.

I know this sounds rude... I mean I just kissed the boy!

Now let me explain... Kody was sort of a lady's man. He dated A TON.

I just thought I was someone close at midnight that he could kiss.

A week goes by, and I get a text from Mr. Kody asking me out on a date for that Friday night.

I was super excited. But... there is a problem.

He doesn't ask me or tell me anything about our date.

He ignores me all week! 

(I later find out he didn't want to show too much interest... I guess that is a bad thing in the player world ha)

Friday comes, and I still have not heard from him. 

I text him.

I cancel our date.

I am not going to go out with someone who doesn't show interest in me.

Even though I had just met this boy, and I hardly knew him, I was sad that we were not going out anymore. 

I called Jessica and she told me that I shouldn't be sad.

I didn't know the boy, so how could I be missing out on something?

I still could not shake the feeling that I made a mistake.

The next Day he calls me.

He wants to go get ice cream.

My mom says I should go. I didn't want to.

I go... and we have so much fun!

He impressed my whole family. (My dad loved him from the first moment he saw him... he had a Boston Red Socks hat on... my dads favorite team)

He made me feel so special.

We have spent every day since then together. 

I LOVE that boy! I am so glad that we met!!

We are perfect for each other.
